We played outdoors on a beautiful fall afternoon in downtown Port Huron at “McMorran Beach.” The city had brought in sand for the summer so people would have an outdoor place to gather during the COVID pandemic. We were actually the last band to play at the “beach,” as the city demolished the area in front of the fountains shortly afterward to build a redesigned plaza in front of the city’s auditorium and ice arena.
This was our first public gig. We had hoped to play before COVID but had to postpone those plans, so it was nice to get to do something other than rehearse!
